This past weekend we decided to drive up to the mountains west of us to take our family pictures. There wasn't much snow where this picture was taken, but there was a breeze blowing and it was so cold! After finishing up at this spot, we drove into South Fork, a small retirement town for lunch. Rather than stop for lunch, Christopher kept driving. We passed Wolf Creek Ski Resort, stopped again at another (better) spot to take more pictures, and eventually ended up in Pagosa Springs. I guess there is an old country song about truckin' and going over Wolf Creek Pass into downtown Pagosa. So Christopher told me on the way home that he can cross that adventure off of his "bucket list."
